DIY Peter Pan Collar

Hey guys, i found this really cool thing while browsing "Peter Pan Collar" !!! I wanted to share it with you guys .

You’ll need:

• 2 scalloped edged collar pieces cut from white felt or rubber flannel (pattern downloadable here)
• a single hole punch or leather rotary hole punch
• 1 yard of white ribbon
• a needle and thread
• hot glue gun
• button

1) Using the pattern template, cut out the two collar pieces. Create small holes between each scallop, using the hole punch.

2) Overlap the two wider end pieces and push a button through the last two aligning holes. Sew the button in place from the backside.

3) Cut the ribbon into two half-yard lengths. Thread the ribbon through the last hole on the tapered end, place a drop of glue at the tip, and fold it closed.

4) Wrap the collar around your neck and tie it into a bow.

5) Your Louis Vuitton inspired peter pan collar is finished!

The Peter Pan Collar

Actually "Peter Pan Collar" is going on for quite some time . But i still wanna share it with you guys Sweet and Lovely ! 

Here's a very very very short story of how "Peter pan Collar" came :
A flat, round-cornered collar, named after the collar of the costume worn in 1905 by actress Maude Adams in her role as Peter Pan and particularly associated with little girls' dresses.

Many Tops and Dresses had started to come in with "Peter Pan Collar" fro quite some time . Even many korean top stars are wearing it (P.S : I'm a die-hard Kpop fan . Hee XD) . Most obviously you can see is IU from her newest album "Last Fantasy", song "You & I" . Her adorable face and lively little cute image definitely brings out the loveliness of "Peter Pan Collar".
